The Cala Canyelles urbanization is one of the most privileged in Lloret de Mar. Local people and foreigners live here. During the summer season, this place is in high demand for vacation rentals. The prices of properties for sale and rent are not cheap and, in principle, it is quite understandable why.

Cala Canyelles borders on one side with the La Llevantina urbanization, and on the other with the urbanizations of La Font de Sant Llorenç, Urcasa and Playa Brava. It should be noted that the last three urbanizations enjoy all the privileges of Cala Canyelles, but the price of the properties, both for sale and for rent, is somewhat cheaper than in Cala Canyelles.

Cala Canyelles is located in the hills and has a good location: to the city center of Lloret de Mar there are about 3.5 km, to the nearest supermarket 2.5 km, to restaurants about 500 meters. It is important that from almost all the villas you can walk to the beach, which bears the same name.

In the urbanization there are three of the best restaurants in the city such as El Trull, Sybius and El Port de la Cala. All restaurants are of a high standard and are highly regarded for their Mediterranean cuisine, not to mention their location. In the El Trull Restaurant in the months of July and August, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there is live music (piano), so it is very tempting to spend a romantic evening here on the terrace by the Mediterranean Sea. The Sybius restaurant is located directly next to the beach, but despite this, all the tables are covered with snow-white tablecloths, the waiters are very attentive and courteous, and the varied menu with seafood will not leave any visitor indifferent of this wonderful place. The Cala Canyelles urbanization has its own small port with 134 moorings, some of which allow boats up to 8 meters to be parked. Right at the port is the El Port de la Cala restaurant, from whose terrace there are panoramic views of the sea and the port. The El Port de la Cala restaurant offers traditional cuisine of fresh local seafood, they also specialize in long-cooked dishes of local cuisine.

In the urbanization, next to the beach, there is a huge and prestigious tennis club, a diving club and a campsite. In summer, the tennis club organizes a children's house, with trips to the beach and experiences for kinds of water activities. At the entrance of the campsite, there is a small supermarket with all the necessary food and a few items for the beach.

And now, finally, we tell you about Cala Canyelles beach itself. The sand on Canyelles beach is thick and golden, in some places there is also very fine sand, from which children can build castles. The beach is about 455 meters long with a slope of 6.1%. From June 15 to September 15, there is a rescue and ambulance service. The beach is fully equipped: there are state-of-the-art foot showers, lockers, rental of umbrellas and deck chairs, etc. For leisure, you can hire the rental of water skis, Ski-bobs, bananas, catamarans, etc. Near the beach there are kiosks that sell ice cream, chips and soft drinks. Also on the beach there is a place for departures of tourist boats, which carry out tourist routes between the cities of Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar. Tickets for the trip on the boat can be purchased at one of the kiosks.

Cala Canyelles beach is divided in two by a large rock located on the same shore known as “Roca del Mig” or “Carquinyoli”, which leaves us on the left side, surrounded by vegetation and near the cliffs, a wonderful corner of a seabed ideal for snorkeling that receives the name of Playa de Sa Somera. In this small part of the beach we will find an old fishermen's house flanked by several palm trees and a quiet and pleasant beach bar with less public attendance due to the distance that separates it from the main access to the beach. During the summer months, local artists come to chiringuito La Caseta in the evenings and play live music. From this part of the beach, despite not being visible to the naked eye, we can access a tiny but wonderful cove known by the name of Cala Rajols.

Another interesting fact about the Cala Canyelles urbanization is that in this place, is the mountain of a politician from Kazakhstan, they say that on the owners' birthdays, they bring elephants and tigers in trucks, and a huge and super fantastic yacht arrives by sea.
